Getting paid
Two ways to earn, two different payout routes
Brand deals and affiliate commission are run by two separate systems with separate payouts. Knowing which is which is the single most useful thing on this page.

Affiliate earnings never appear in your Ainfluencer wallet, and your wallet balance is not affected by affiliate sales. Check brand deals in the wallet, and affiliate earnings under Link analytics inside the campaign. If one looks empty, you are probably looking in the other one's place.

Do I need to be approved before I can promote a product?
No. When you tap Generate Link on a campaign, the partnership is created and approved immediately at the campaign's commission rate. There is no application and no seller review.
Where do my affiliate earnings show up?
Not in your Ainfluencer wallet. Affiliate commission runs on the separate affiliate platform. Open the campaign and tap Link analytics to see clicks, sales, earnings and the status of each payout.
Why does commission take longer than a brand deal?
A sale can only be billed to the seller once it is at least 35 days old, which covers the returns window. It is slower than a brand deal, and it is also why the figure you see is one you keep.
How much is taken out of my commission?
A platform fee, usually 5%, comes out of the commission before it reaches you, so you receive the commission minus that fee. This is a different fee from the 20% that applies to brand-deal payouts.
Can I change the commission rate?
No. The rate is set by the seller on each product. If a seller changes it, the new rate applies to your existing links on that product too, including sales that have not been billed yet.
Is my storefront the same thing as BrandID?
No. As an affiliate you get a branded storefront on the Ainfluencer affiliate platform, listing what you promote, with your tracking on every product. BrandID is a separate sister app: if you tap Build My Storefront it opens BrandID's website, and the links you made here are not copied into it. You would add them there yourself.
Who do I talk to about an affiliate campaign?
Message the brand through the Ainfluencer chat, from the campaign. The affiliate platform has a chat of its own, but it is not the one we support, so anything sent there may not reach the brand.
Do I need a Stripe account?
Yes, for affiliate commission. It is how the affiliate platform pays you, and it is separate from the PayPal or crypto payout method you set up for brand deals in the Ainfluencer app.
