Ainfluencer for Agencies
An agency works by being let into each client’s account, and there are two ways in: a seat in the client’s brand team and a role in the client’s seller team. This guide covers what each allows, what the client must be on, and what can end your access.
What this guide covers
Two doors into a client’s account
There is no separate agency account. An agency works by being let into each client’s account, and there are two ways in.
| Brand team seat | Seller team role | |
|---|---|---|
| Where | app.ainfluencer.com, the Ainfluencer web app | seller.ainfluencer.com, the affiliate platform |
| What it covers | Paid collaborations, gifting, the inbox, wallet and analytics | An affiliate program: brands, products, partnerships, affiliates, reports and payments |
| Limited access | No. Every seat has the same working access | Yes. The owner builds a role and ticks the permissions |
| Who is invited | Anyone with a brand account, or new users | Only people who have a seller account |
| How long access lasts | Until the owner removes you | One day at a time, then you switch in again |
- You keep your own login. In both doors you switch into the client’s team and act as the client.
- The agency can also hold its own brand account for its own campaigns, which is separate from any client.
- Nothing in this guide depends on a special agency plan, because none is documented.
Door one: a seat in the client’s brand team
The client invites each person on your team by email. The client has to be on a plan that includes seats first.
| Client’s plan | Seats including the owner | What that means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 1 | No room for an agency seat |
| Starter | 1 | No room for an agency seat |
| Pro | 3 | Two seats for you |
| Ultimate | Unlimited | As many as you need |
- The owner opens Team Members, chooses Add Member and sends the invite.
- If you already have a brand account, the link adds you at once. If you are new, it opens a registration form with your email filled in.
- Switch into the client’s team from the profile menu.
- A pending invitation uses a seat, and the owner does not use one.
- The invitation to a new user expires after seven days. The owner can press Resend Invite.
- You must register with the email the invitation went to. An email registered as an influencer cannot join a brand team.
- Removing a member may not free the seat count. If a client is blocked from inviting after a removal, support can correct it.
What a brand seat lets you do, and the money risk
A seat has the owner’s working access. That is useful and it is also the main thing to agree with a client in writing.
| You can | You cannot |
|---|---|
| Create and edit campaigns | Open the brand Profile or change the logo |
| Search, reveal and invite creators | Change the password or email notification settings |
| Answer offers, counter, pay and approve | Open the Influencer content page |
| Use the wallet and payments | Be limited to view only or to a budget |
| Read Analytics and the Scheduler | Edit the brand score or profile |
- Roles are not available on the brand side yet. There is no way to give an agency seat read access only, or to stop it paying.
- Paying an offer uses the client’s wallet and cards, and the total, including the platform fee, is shown before you pay. Approving releases the creator’s payment and you cannot undo it.
- Agree who may pay, who approves and any spending limit with the client before you start.
See Ainfluencer for Social Media Managers for the day to day work inside a seat.
Door two: a role in the client’s seller team
On the affiliate platform the owner can limit what you see, which suits running an affiliate program without touching the client’s money.
- You need a seller account at seller.ainfluencer.com with the same email the client will invite.
- The owner opens Account settings, then Team, and chooses Send New Invitation with your email and a role.
- You accept under Account settings, Team, Invited Teams.
- Use Switch Teams in the sidebar to enter the client’s account.
| Area a role can control | Examples |
|---|---|
| Brands and products | All brands or only chosen ones |
| Affiliates and partnership | Finding, lists, requests and decisions |
| Messages and reports | Chat and statistics |
| Payments and wallet | Commission statements, subscription statements, wallet history |
| Settings | Team, security, notifications, card and Stripe |
- Each area can allow view, create, update, delete or export separately.
- Menu items your role does not allow are hidden. Opening a page without permission sends you back to the dashboard with no message.
- Your access lasts one day. Switch in again from the sidebar the next day.
- Actions you take are the owner’s. Charges, partnerships and messages are all in the client’s name.
- An invitation to someone without a seller account is never linked after sign up. Create the account first, then ask the owner to invite again.
- The plan lists team members for sellers, but that limit is not enforced today.
For the brand side of the same program, see Ainfluencer for Affiliate Managers.
Running several clients at once
Each client is a separate account, and you move between them from the profile menu.
| Thing | How it works across clients |
|---|---|
| Switching | The profile menu lists your own brand and every team you belong to |
| Where you land | At login you open the team you used last |
| Wallet | Each client has its own wallet, cards and refunds |
| Plan and limits | Each client has its own plan, campaign slots, invites and reveals |
| Brand score | Each client has its own score and tier |
| Notifications | Your own settings live in your own brand, not the client’s |
| Digest emails | They go to the client’s account email, not to you |
- It is easy to act in the wrong account. Check the brand name in the header before you pay or approve.
- The daily digest of creator activity goes to the account owner, so ask the client to forward it or to check it with you.
Reporting to a client
Give the client numbers and files they can open without your login.
| What | How to share it |
|---|---|
| Delivered files | Copy share link in the inbox. Anyone with the link can view the files without a login and it does not expire |
| Post results | The Analytics page and a single post’s Post Analytics, from the client’s account |
| Calendar | The Scheduler shows deals per day with View Offer, Preview Campaign, View Feed and Analytics |
| Gifting progress | The board, and its CSV export of everyone except open requests |
| Creator audience | Ask the creator for Insights in the chat, screenshots for the last 90 days |
- The Contents page is for the account owner only. Team members use the inbox preview and the share link.
- A share link works only for uploaded files. A delivery that is only a post link has none.
- A share link cannot be switched off from the account, so share it only with people the client trusts.
- A campaign appears in Analytics only after an approved delivery with a readable link and at least one reading.
What can end your access
Access depends on the client’s account staying in good shape.
| Event | Effect on you |
|---|---|
| The owner removes you | You are logged out of every session at once. No email is sent |
| The client’s plan ends or is downgraded | Seats above the new limit are removed automatically, pending invitations first and then the oldest members |
| The owner is suspended | Nobody in the team can use the account |
| The owner deletes the account | Every member is logged out and pending invitations expire |
| A seller team role changes | Pages your role no longer allows disappear |
- Because seats are released on a downgrade, tell the client to keep a Pro or Ultimate plan for as long as you work together.
- Because removal is instant and silent, keep a copy of the files and reports the client needs from you.
- Over the seat limit, the invite attempt opens the upgrade pop-up. Pending invitations also use a seat.
Questions agencies ask
Is there an agency plan or account type?
None is documented in the plans. If you need something custom, the plan pop-up has a Meet our sales team link that opens a booking page.
Can one login manage many clients?
Yes, by being a member of each client’s team and switching from the profile menu. Each client stays a separate account.
Can I restrict an agency seat to view only?
Not on the brand side yet. On the seller side the owner can give you a role with chosen permissions.
Can I be a member of the client’s team on a Free plan?
No. Free and Starter include no seats beyond the owner.
Who owns the creator relationships?
The client’s account does. Offers, chats and reviews are in the client’s name.
Can I use my own wallet for a client’s deal?
No. Seat actions pay from the client’s wallet and cards.
