How Plans, Limits and Upgrades Work

The full feature matrix, the two limits that bite first, and how to work out your own crossover instead of guessing.

The limit most brands hit first is not campaigns, it is username reveals. Five a month on Free, and every creator you want to contact directly costs one. That is usually what sends a brand to Starter.

Stop 2

Seats, where the tier names mislead

Two plans allow nobody but you, and no top-up changes it.

PlanPeople in totalColleagues you can invite
Free1None
Starter1None
Pro32, with more at $19 each
UltimateUnlimitedUnlimited, extra seats $29 each

You, as the owner, do not consume a seat. A plan described as two seats means you plus two colleagues.

If adding a teammate is the reason you are upgrading, Starter will not do it. Budget for Pro. And note there are no roles yet: every member has the same access as you, including spending your wallet and approving deliveries.

Stop 3

Which plan you should actually be on

Three numbers decide it, and the subscription price is only one.

What you pay creators each month

The fee gap between Free and Pro is ten points, so $1,500 a month saves roughly $150, which covers most of Pro.

How many creators you need to contact

Five reveals a month runs out fast if you are actively recruiting.

Whether anyone else needs access

If yes, the answer is Pro or above. There is no middle option.

If this is youThe plan that fits
Testing the platform, one campaign, occasional paymentsFree. Genuinely usable, and 25% on small spend beats a subscription
Regular campaigns, under about $1,000 a month to creators, working aloneStarter
A team, or more than about $1,500 a month to creatorsPro. The fee saving and the seats arrive together
High volume, several brands, or you want the 3% feeUltimate

Work out your own crossover rather than taking a tier at face value. A brand paying creators $400 a month saves $40 by moving to Pro and pays $149 for it.

Stop 4

Monthly, quarterly and annual

Switching up is immediate. Switching down is immediate too, but the money behaves differently.

ChangeWhenWhat happens to money already paid
Monthly to quarterly or annualImmediatelyStripe charges the difference now
Annual or quarterly back to monthlyImmediatelyThe unused part stays as a credit at Stripe for future payments. It is not refunded to your card

On Pro the three prices are $149 monthly, $133 a month quarterly and $104 a month annually, so annual is roughly 30% off the monthly rate.

That Stripe credit is real money you keep, but it only exists as future Ainfluencer billing. Switching from annual to monthly and then cancelling leaves it unused.

Stop 5

Where you will hit a limit, and what it looks like

The limit usually appears as an upgrade pop-up at the exact moment you were trying to do something.

What you were doingWhat the limit was
Clicking Let’s Go on a new campaignCampaign slots. Live campaigns and ones waiting for review both count
Revealing a creator’s handleMonthly reveal credits. You can pay per reveal from your wallet instead
Inviting a teammateSeats. Pending invitations hold a seat too
Launching a gifting programmeProduct seeding access, which starts at Starter, plus a campaign slot
Your campaign was approved and then pausedThe plan check ran again at approval and you were over the limit

Before upgrading for a seat, clear out old pending invitations. They hold a seat from the moment they are sent, and deleting one frees it. Removing an accepted member does not, which is a known bug.

Stop 6

Downgrading and cancelling

Neither takes effect immediately. Both trigger an automatic clean-up when they do.

ActionWhen it takes effectWhat happens then
UpgradeImmediatelyStripe charges the difference, and any scheduled downgrade is cancelled
DowngradeEnd of the paid periodYou keep everything until then, then the limits tighten
CancelEnd of the paid periodThe card shows Active Until with the date, and Resume Plan undoes it before then

When it takes effect, anything over the new plan’s limits is removed automatically. For seats the order is pending invitations first, oldest first, then the oldest members.

So if you are downgrading and want to keep a particular colleague, remove the others yourself beforehand. The clean-up goes by age, not by who matters to you.

Choosing and changing a plan

What to work out before you click, and what happens after.

1Add up what you actually pay creators in a month.
2Multiply the fee gap: ten points between Free and Pro, twelve to Ultimate.
3Check the two limits that bite first: reveals and seats.
4Upgrade if the saving plus the seats justify the subscription. The change is immediate and Stripe charges the difference.
5If you overshoot, downgrade. It takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for.
6Before that date, remove anything you want to keep control of, because the clean-up removes by age.
