How to Fund and Manage Your Wallet

Three pots behind one number, why the balance cannot be withdrawn, and where it goes when you did not pay anyone.

Stop 1

What is actually in your balance

One figure on screen, three pots behind it, and they behave completely differently.

ONE FIGURE, THREE POTS Your own funds Top-ups and refunds Spendable, not withdrawable Promotional credit Added by our team Spent FIRST Never returnable Escrow Deals you have paid Committed, and not in your balance The Wallet balance on screen is the first two added together. Escrow is not included.

Credit is always spent before your cash.

Because credit goes first, a balance that looks like your money may partly be promotional credit that can never come back to you. Payments & Billing shows Credits Received separately, which tells you how much of your history was ours rather than yours.

Stop 2

Adding funds

Minimum $1, no maximum, US dollars only, and no fee: the full amount reaches your balance.

MethodWhen your balance movesReliability
Stripe, including Apple Pay and Google PayImmediatelyConfirmed directly to our servers
Credit CardImmediatelyCharged at once. The first card you add becomes your default
PayPalWhen you land back on our result pageFragile. Closing the tab early means the money leaves and the balance does not move
CryptoThe same, and worse if still confirmingSame risk

The page suggests $500, $1,000, $2,000 and $5,000. They are suggestions, not tiers. Nothing unlocks by depositing more.

If a PayPal or crypto top-up never arrives, do not pay again. Find the tracking code, the PayPal transaction ID or the crypto hash, and send support the code, the amount and the time. The team matches it and credits by hand.

Stop 3

Why you cannot withdraw it

There is no withdraw button anywhere in the brand interface, and you agreed to that at the moment of deposit.

The Add Funds page requires a tick on the line I agree that wallet deposits are non-refundable if not used on campaigns before the button activates. A brand wallet is a prepaid balance for spending here, not an account.

So deposit per campaign, not ahead of need. Work out the creator fees you have agreed, add your plan’s platform fee, and deposit that. There is no fee for topping up, so there is nothing to gain by depositing early.

Stop 4

What the balance can pay for

More than most brands realise, and one thing it cannot.

Influencer collaborations

The main use. Any creator, any campaign.

Content insurance

An optional line at checkout, 10% of the product value you enter.

Content translation

Charged to the wallet and listed separately under Total spent.

Gifting and seeding

Still a paid collaboration, still wallet funded.

Affiliate payouts

If you run a programme through Ainfluencer.

Not your subscription

Despite wording on the wallet page, plan charges go to your card at Stripe and never touch the balance.

Stop 5

When the balance drops and you did not pay anyone

Four movements reduce it, and only one of them looks like a payment.

MovementWhere to confirm it
You paid an offer, so money moved into escrowHeld in escrow, under Where your money is
Content insurance was added at checkoutThe transaction row, line Content insurance
A content translation was boughtTotal spent, then See breakdown
Promotional credit was spent before your cashCredits Received, compared with your top-ups

On Payments & Billing, the filter chip On Hold in Escrow alone usually accounts for the whole difference.

Stop 6

Finding every movement

Three views, and brands usually only find the first.

Transactions

Deal money. Filter by On Hold in Escrow, Transferred To Influencer Wallet, Paid Out to Influencer or Refunded To Brand Wallet. Click any row for its full cost breakdown.

Top-up history

The link beside your balance. Every deposit with its method, and a total.

Older transactions

Anything before our payment system changed in August 2025. Read only.

If a figure will not reconcile, the usual culprit is the platform fee, charged on top of the agreed price and so not part of the creator’s amount. Read Total paid by you rather than Amount.

Stop 7

Saved cards, and the one that fails

Cards are stored at Stripe. We keep only the masked number.

Your default card is also what Stripe charges for your subscription. Changing it on the Cards page changes both.

Funding a campaign properly

The order that avoids both an empty wallet and a stranded balance.

1Work out what you will actually spend: the creator fees you expect, plus your plan’s platform fee on top.
2Add that amount with Stripe or a saved card, which credit immediately.
3Tick the non-refundable agreement. There is no withdraw button later.
4Pay offers from the balance. Promotional credit is used before your cash.
5Money moves into escrow and leaves your visible balance.
6On approval it goes to the creator. If the deal fails, it returns to your wallet, minus the platform fee.
7Check Where your money is whenever the number surprises you.
