Ainfluencer for Social Media Managers
A social media manager usually works inside a brand’s account on a seat rather than owning it. This guide follows that working week: getting the seat, what it allows, the inbox, briefs, sourcing, the Scheduler, approval and reporting.
What this guide covers
- Get your seat in the brand’s account
- What your seat can and cannot do
- Run the inbox every day
- Write briefs that creators can answer
- Source and invite creators
- Keep the content calendar with the Scheduler
- Review, approve and share the content
- Report on what the creators delivered
- Guardrails for a shared account
- Questions social media managers ask
Get your seat in the brand’s account
You do not get a separate account for the brand. You keep your own login and switch into the brand’s team, where you act as the brand.
- The account owner opens Team Members, chooses Add Member, types your email and sends the invite.
- You get an email called You’re invited to the brand’s team on Ainfluencer. The owner can also copy the invitation link and send it to you.
- If you already have a brand account, the link adds you to the team at once and you log in.
- If you are new, the link opens a short registration form with your email filled in. Enter your name and password and finish the reCAPTCHA.
- Use the profile menu to switch between your own brand and the team.
| Rule | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Same email | Register with the exact email the invitation went to |
| Seven days | An invitation to someone without an account expires after seven days. Ask the owner to press Resend Invite |
| Influencer emails | An email that is registered as an influencer cannot join a brand team. Use another email |
| Seats | The plan sets the seats. The owner does not use one, and a pending invitation does |
- If the registration form shows an error, sign up as a brand first at app.ainfluencer.com, then open the invitation link again.
- If the owner is suspended, nobody in the team can use the account until that is resolved.
Seat limits by plan are in How Plans and Limits Work.
What your seat can and cannot do
Roles are not available yet, so a team member has the same working access as the owner, with a few settings pages held back.
| You can | You cannot |
|---|---|
| Create and edit campaigns, and invite creators | Open the brand Profile or change the brand’s logo and details |
| Read the inbox, counter offers, pay and approve | Change the password or the email notification settings of the account |
| Use the wallet, payments and the scheduler | Open the Influencer content page. The sidebar still shows it, but it sends you back to the dashboard |
| See analytics and your own notifications | Be limited to part of the account, because roles are coming soon |
- Treat the seat as a payment authoriser. Paying an offer, approving a delivery and moving a gifting card are all things you can do as the brand.
- Your own notification settings live in your own brand, not the team’s.
- When the owner removes you, you are logged out of every session at once. No email is sent when someone joins or leaves.
- If a plan ends, seats above the new limit are released automatically, pending invitations first, then the oldest members.
Run the inbox every day
The inbox is where deals move. Each creator has one thread per route, and the thread shows where the deal stands.
| Thread | Shown as | What happens in it |
|---|---|---|
| Paid collaboration | Collab | Offer, counter, payment, delivery, approval |
| Affiliate | Affiliate | Created when someone sends the first message |
| Gifting | Seeding | The gifting stage, the address card and the outreach message |
- An offer arrives already waiting for payment. Paying is the acceptance. Use Edit to counter before paying.
- A counter lets the creator accept, edit or reject. After payment, Edit becomes a revision request, up to two by default. A higher price must be paid first and is held until the creator answers.
- Rejecting an offer opens a short wizard that asks for a reason and an optional comment.
- The platform filter shows creators with an active account on that platform for gifting and affiliate threads, which are not tied to one account.
- Contact details are hidden until payment, except on Ultimate, and a nightly check reviews unpaid chats. Keep the conversation in the Ainfluencer chat.
- When a creator sends an address card, the inbox shows a Copy address button for the shipping label.
Write briefs that creators can answer
The paid collaboration wizard asks one question per screen. Each Next saves a draft, so you can stop and come back.
| Question | Why it matters to a creator |
|---|---|
| What should influencers do | Post your content, create and publish, or only create for you |
| Influencer size and gender | Nano 5k to 10k, Micro 10k to 100k, Macro 100k to 1m, Mega over 1m, or any |
| Countries and language | Decides who can offer. Invited creators skip this check |
| Post duration | Negotiated per offer, permanent, or a set time of at least four hours |
| Bio link | Whether the creator must add your link |
| Platforms and post types | Instagram Feed, Story or Reel, TikTok Video, YouTube Video, with an optional caption |
| Upload some content | Up to ten images or videos. Saving this step with at least one file submits the campaign for review |
- The title and description can be written with AI, twice per campaign, or filled from a template. The AI button may not work for team members, so ask the owner to use it.
- A caption can be up to 2,200 characters and 30 hashtags. Contact details are not allowed in it.
- An unfinished draft triggers reminder emails to the brand at 24 and 72 hours.
- Every new campaign is reviewed by our team before creators see it. Invitations you queue meanwhile are held until it is approved.
- A paid collaboration has no end date. Pause or delete it from the Campaigns page.
Source and invite creators
Find Influencers is a filtered search, and a handle stays masked until you reveal it.
| Filter | Notes |
|---|---|
| Keyword and hashtag | Free text |
| Location, language, gender | As the creator filled them in |
| Categories | Pick from the creator’s niches |
| Quality | Great, Good or OK |
| Followers | Nano 100 to 10k, Micro, Macro, Mega or a custom range |
| Influencer fees | A rough estimate only |
| Address ready to ship | Appears when the campaign is a gifting campaign |
| Open to commission | Appears when the campaign is an affiliate campaign |
- Choose the campaign first. The button then reads Invite to campaign, Invite to program or Request to send product.
- Save creators to a list for later. Reveals are permanent per creator, and hiring a creator reveals them for free.
- Reveals a month: Free 5, Starter 50, Pro 100, Ultimate 6,000. Past the limit you can pay from the wallet or upgrade.
- Invitations a month: Free 5, Starter 50, Pro 500, Ultimate 50,000. They go out in grouped emails at 06:00 and 18:00 UTC.
- A creator you already invited, or who already made an offer, is left out of results for that campaign.
Keep the content calendar with the Scheduler
Once an offer is paid, the deal sits in the Scheduler until the creator delivers.
| Part of the Scheduler | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Calendar | Deals per day, with counts of posts, stories and reels |
| Upcoming list | Each deal with View Offer, Preview Campaign, View Feed and Analytics |
| Deal card in the inbox | Paid and Scheduled until something is delivered, then Published |
- The creator is reminded 72, 24, 12, 6 and 3 hours before the publish date.
- A creator can extend the deadline themselves. Check the chat for the new date.
- If nothing is delivered by two days after the publish date, the deal expires and you are refunded to your wallet at three days.
- The status stays Published for both waiting and approved deliveries, so check the approve box rather than the label.
Review, approve and share the content
Approval releases the creator’s payment. Nothing approves a delivery for you, so a deal left alone is refunded.
| Where | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Inbox, Final Delivered Result | Preview, View Post, Download, Copy a share link, Approve it or Disapprove it |
| Contents page | All delivered content, View live post, Translate and Copy share link. The account owner only |
| Share link | Anyone with it can view the uploaded files without a login. It does not expire |
| Translate | A paid dub of a video into other languages, priced per minute per language and shown before you pay |
- The note on Approve or Disapprove goes to Ainfluencer only, not to the creator. Keep talking to the creator in the chat.
- A brand disapproval keeps the money held and refunds the brand 14 days after the deal’s start date unless the creator resubmits.
- When a creator uploads a link we can read, the approval window is about nine days. For a link we cannot read, such as a story or a private post, it can be under two days.
- Approval cannot be undone by you. Approving a deal that was already refunded takes the price from your wallet again.
- The share link shows files only. A delivery that is just a post link has no files to share.
Report on what the creators delivered
The Analytics page builds a campaign view from delivered posts.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Campaign Performance at a Glance | Influencers who delivered, Total Likes, Total Comments, Total Views and Total Saves |
| Performance by Influencer | The same numbers per creator, with a Write a review button |
| Post Analytics | Likes, comments, engagement rate and bio link clicks for one post, opened from the Scheduler |
| Insights | A request in the chat for the creator’s audience screenshots for the last 90 days. One request per deal |
- Numbers are read about one hour, one day, three days and one week after the creator submits the link.
- A campaign appears only after a paid deal is approved, has a link and has at least one reading. Files, stories and private posts have no numbers.
- There is no refresh button. Numbers are as fresh as the last reading.
- A review rates Performance, Communication and Observance of agreed terms out of five. It is checked by our team before it shows on the creator’s profile.
- The answer to Would you work with this creator again is never shown to the creator.
Guardrails for a shared account
Several people acting as one brand needs a few agreements.
| Agree this | Because |
|---|---|
| Who may pay and approve | Every seat can, and approval cannot be undone |
| Who answers the inbox | Two people countering the same offer confuses the creator |
| Who writes the reviews | One review per deal and it cannot be edited |
| Who owns the brand profile and settings | Only the owner can change them |
| Who removes seats | Removing a member may not free up the seat count. Tell support if it does not |
- Keep a note of every share link you send, because it cannot be switched off from the account.
- Ask the owner for the Contents page. Team members use the inbox preview and the share link.
- Money out of a failed or unapproved deal returns to the wallet, not the card.

Questions social media managers ask
My invitation says it is no longer valid.
It expired after seven days. Ask the owner to press Resend Invite.
I cannot open Influencer content.
That page is for the account owner. Use Copy in the inbox preview for a share link.
Can I have access without payments?
Not yet. Roles are coming soon, and every seat has the same working access.
I cannot invite more people.
Pending invitations use a seat. Delete the ones you no longer need, or ask the owner about the plan.
A creator delivered but the campaign is not in Analytics.
Analytics lists a campaign after the delivery is approved and has a readable link with at least one reading.
I approved by mistake.
Approval releases the payment within minutes and you cannot reverse it. Tell support what happened.
Who is notified when I join the team?
Nobody. No email is sent when a member joins or is removed.
