For Brands & Sellers

How to Launch a Campaign

Choosing a type, writing a brief that passes review first time, and the upload step that actually submits it.

Stop 1

Picking the right type

Four cards, and only two of them lead anywhere for most brands on their first campaign.

SELECT THE TYPE OF CAMPAIGN Affiliate Campaign Pay a commission on each sale. Needs a connected store and a card. Paid Collaboration Pay a fixed fee for content. $10 minimum per influencer. Paid collab + Affiliate Coming soon. Not clickable. Product Gifting & Seeding Free products for a post. Needs Pro or Ultimate.

The picker. The greyed card is not yet built.

TypeYou payChoose it when
Paid CollaborationA fixed fee per creator, minimum $10You want content and reach, and you want it this month. This is the default starting point
Affiliate CampaignA commission on each saleYou have a Shopify or Amazon store connected and a card on file. Without both, this card just sends you to the affiliate dashboard
Product GiftingNothing but the productYou would rather send stock than cash. Needs Pro or Ultimate
Paid collab + AffiliateNot availableMarked Coming Soon

If you already run an affiliate programme somewhere else, pick Paid Collaboration and share your own tracking link. On the Free plan an external affiliate programme is a documented rejection reason, so that route needs Pro or above, or a funded wallet.

Stop 2

The check that happens before you type anything

Clicking Let’s Go runs a plan check. If you are at your campaign limit, nothing is created at all.

PlanCampaigns you can hold at once
Free1
Starter2
Pro3
UltimateUnlimited

What counts towards the limit is anything you are holding: live campaigns and campaigns waiting for review. Drafts, rejected campaigns and expired ones do not.

A known oddity: the upgrade pop-up fires on Let’s Go, before a draft exists, even though a draft would not use a slot. If you only wanted to start writing, free a slot first by pausing a campaign you are finished with.

Stop 3

Building the brief, one question at a time

The wizard asks one thing per screen and saves each answer, so you can stop and come back.

What should influencers do

Post your existing content, create and publish, or create content for you only.

Who you want

Follower range, gender, countries, languages. Narrow filters mean a smaller visible pool.

Shipping a physical product

Answering yes makes you pick the countries creators must live in.

How long the post stays up

Negotiate per offer, permanent, or a set duration of at least four hours.

A link in their bio

Optional, with your product URL.

Who can send you offers

Only invited creators, or anyone. Invite-only is quieter but much slower to fill.

Title and description

Use Templates, or the AI writer, which you get twice per campaign and only as the account owner.

Platforms and formats

Instagram Feed, Story or Reel, TikTok video, YouTube video.

There is no start or end date on a paid collaboration. It stays on the marketplace until you pause or delete it. Creators propose the posting date in their offer.

Stop 4

The step that actually submits it

Your campaign is not submitted when you finish the wizard. It is submitted the moment you save the upload step with at least one file.

How many filesAt least 1, up to 10
ImagesJPG, JPEG or PNG, up to 8 MB each
VideosMP4, WEBM, WMV, AVI, MOV, OGG, OGV or MPEG, up to 100 MB
CaptionUp to 2,200 characters and 30 hashtags, no contact details
About your brandUp to 1,024 characters

If your campaign still says Draft, this is almost always why: the upload step was never saved. A draft is invisible to creators and is not in anyone’s review queue. You will get reminder emails at 24 and 72 hours.

Stop 5

Review, and the twenty reasons it comes back

Every paid collaboration is read by a person before creators see it. Affiliate campaigns are not reviewed; they go live when you add products.

The most common reasons a campaign is sent back, all of which you can avoid before submitting:

A thin description

The single most common. State the deliverable, who you want, the product and something about your brand.

Not enough visuals

Creators scroll past campaigns with nothing to look at.

It looks like a test

Placeholder text, or an unedited template.

No About Us on your brand profile

Creators read it before accepting. An empty one reads as low effort.

Contact details in the text or the images

Emails, phone numbers, URLs and QR codes in campaign images are all rejected.

Barter only, or a third-party affiliate programme

Needs a plan upgrade or a funded wallet.

Fixing one is quick: click Edit on the card, change what the email cited, and saving sends it back to the queue automatically. You need a free campaign slot to resubmit.

Stop 6

After approval

Three things happen, and one of them can undo the others.

It goes live on the marketplace

Creators can find it and, unless you chose invite-only, send you offers.

Held invitations are released

Anyone you picked during setup is invited now, in the grouped invitation emails that go out at 06:00 and 18:00 UTC.

The plan check runs again

If you are now over your limit, the campaign that was just approved is paused immediately, and you are not told.

That last one explains a common confusion: you get an email saying your campaign was approved, and then find it Paused. Pause another campaign or upgrade, then switch this one back on.

Stop 7

Editing a live campaign

Any edit that goes through the wizard sends an approved campaign back to review, and it disappears from the marketplace while it waits.

What you doWhat happens
Edit and save the upload stepBack to Pending Approval, invisible to creators until re-approved
Edit a rejected campaignBack to the queue automatically
Pause a campaignHidden from creators, frees nothing until it is closed or deleted
Your brand gets suspendedEvery live campaign is rejected with the reason Owner suspended, and returns to Pending when you are reactivated

Existing offers and deals are not affected while a campaign is back in review, so an edit mid-campaign does not disturb work already agreed. But new creators cannot find you until it is approved again, so avoid editing during a push.

From idea to live campaign

Every step, including the two that are not where you expect.

1Open the campaign type picker and choose Paid Collaboration.
2Click Let’s Go. Your plan is checked here, before anything is created.
3Answer the brief one screen at a time. Each answer saves as you go.
4Upload at least one image or video. This is what actually submits the campaign.
5The card reads Pending Approval while our team reads it.
6On approval it goes live, and any invitations you queued are sent at the next 06:00 or 18:00 UTC run.
7Creators send you priced offers. You negotiate, then pay to start the work.
