Match each goal to a campaign type
A programme is rarely one campaign. The three types behave differently enough that each goal has a best fit, and they can run side by side as separate campaigns.
| Goal | Campaign type | How you pay | What to watch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fresh content and reach on a date | Paid collaboration | A price per creator, minimum $10, plus a platform fee | Team review before launch, approval within about a week, escrow |
| Product trial and user generated content without cash | Product gifting | The product and postage. Starter or above | No escrow, units are not enforced, review before launch |
| Pay only for sales | Affiliate | A commission, charged to your card about 35 days after each sale | Needs a connected Shopify or Amazon store and a card. Not reviewed |
| Several goals at once | Separate campaigns | Each holds a campaign slot | The combined paid plus affiliate type shows as Coming Soon |
- Slots count live campaigns and campaigns waiting for review: Free 1, Starter 2, Pro 3, Ultimate unlimited. Drafts, rejected, expired and paused campaigns do not count.
- If you already run an affiliate program elsewhere, choose I already have an affiliate platform. It opens the paid collaboration wizard so you pay a fixed fee and share your own link.
- Store specific detail lives in Ainfluencer for Shopify Sellers and Ainfluencer for Amazon Sellers.
Set up the workspace
The brand account is owned by one login. Everything else, including colleagues, hangs off it.
| Area | What to decide |
|---|---|
| Owner | The owner manages the profile, password, subscription and the Contents page. Only the owner can edit the company profile |
| Colleagues | Invite from Team Members. Pro includes two beyond the owner and Ultimate is unlimited. Free and Starter include none. Invitations to people without an account expire after seven days, and a pending invitation uses a seat |
| Access | Roles are not available yet. Every colleague has the owner’s access to campaigns, inbox, offers, wallet and payments, so treat each seat as a payment authoriser |
| Limits for colleagues | They cannot open Profile, change the password or email settings, or open the Influencer content page. They manage their own notification settings |
| Cards and wallet | Add a default card for subscriptions and top up the wallet for offers. The first card you add is the default |
| Notifications | Seven categories with Email, Push and SMS switches. On the web, Push means the in-app bell |
- A colleague who already has a brand account is added the moment they click the link. A new one registers with the invited email.
- Influencer emails cannot join a team, and the owner cannot be removed.
- Removing a member logs them out of every session straight away. If a seat does not free up after a removal, contact support.
- Complete the brand profile: About Your Brand, logo, target platforms and creator size, budget, categories and hashtags. An empty About Us is a common reason for a campaign to be sent back.
- The brand score adds up live campaigns, closed deals, money paid, profile steps, quick answers and reviews you write. It is recalculated from your current state, so it can fall.
Control the budget
The wallet is your spending cap. Nothing is charged until you pay an offer, and every payment lands in escrow first.
| Control | How it works |
|---|---|
| Wallet | In US dollars, topped up by card, Stripe, PayPal or crypto. Minimum top-up $1, presets $500 to $5,000, and no fee on a top-up. Unused deposits are not refundable to the card |
| Pay offer by offer | Each offer needs your payment, and the checkout stays valid for 30 minutes. Nothing runs on autopilot |
| Platform fee | Free 25%, Starter 20%, Pro 15%, Ultimate 3%, added on top of the price and calculated after any coupon. Not refunded if the deal fails |
| Escrow | The price is held until you approve. Unapproved deals fail and the money returns to the wallet, roughly nine to ten days after a readable link is submitted |
| Coupons and credit | One coupon per order. Credit is spent before your cash and cannot be withdrawn. Ainfluencer pays the discount, so creators still receive the full price |
| Insurance | Optional for physical products. A percentage of the declared value, covering a product that is not returned and creators who never deliver |
| Refunds | To the wallet, never the card. The platform fee and any coupon or credit portion are not returned |
- Where your money is. Payments & Billing, wallet tab: balance, top-up history, total spent with a breakdown, held in escrow, paid to creators, refunded and credits received. Each transaction opens a cost breakdown.
- Subscription. Charged to a card at Stripe, with invoices as PDFs and a Download all option in Billing history. It never comes from the wallet.
- Affiliate commission. A separate card on the Affiliate dashboard. If it fails, campaigns pause overnight and creators wait.
- There is no spending limit per colleague, so agree an internal approval rule for who pays offers.
- Cards that need extra bank verification fail inside checkout. Use Stripe, PayPal or the wallet instead.

Manage the campaign portfolio
The Campaigns page lists every campaign across all three types. Learn what each action does to a live campaign before you use it.
| Action | What it does | Careful |
|---|---|---|
| Edit | Reopens the wizard for that campaign type | Editing an approved paid collaboration sends it back to Pending Approval and hides it from creators until our team approves it again |
| Duplicate | Copies a paid collaboration as a draft | The copy has no images or videos, no bio link and is open to all. It needs a free slot |
| Pause switch | Takes it off the marketplace at once | Existing offers and deals carry on. Resuming needs a free slot and an unpaused subscription |
| Invite only toggle | Switches who can send offers | Does not send it back to review |
| Copy campaign link | A public preview link | Not available on drafts. Affiliate campaigns open Share and Embed instead |
| Delete | Archives it for you and for creators | Existing deals are not cancelled, and there is no undo in the app |
| Manage influencers | Opens the gifting board or the affiliate dashboard | Gifting has no pause switch |
- Statuses: Draft, Pending Approval, Approved, Disapproved by Admin with the reason on the info icon, Paused and Expired. A rejection can be fixed with Edit and resubmitted.
- Who pauses a campaign: you, an admin, the plan check after a downgrade or at approval, or a subscription pause. You can resume any of them once a slot is free, except a campaign frozen by a subscription pause.
- Expiry: paid collaborations created in today’s wizard have no end date. Affiliate and gifting campaigns expire on their end date.
- Affiliate pause and delete should be done from the affiliate campaign list, not the main Campaigns page, or creators may keep promoting.
- A paid collaboration set to Approved can be paused by the plan check immediately if you were already at the limit when it was approved.
The page also shows tiles for active campaigns, deals closed, total reach and drafts. A welcome pop up reminds you of unfinished drafts, and unfinished drafts get a reminder email after 24 and 72 hours.
Run the creator pipeline
Discovery, outreach and negotiation share one Inbox. Set up lists and templates once and every campaign gets faster.
| Stage | Tool | Limit to plan around |
|---|---|---|
| Discover | Find Influencers with filters, quick profile and full profile | Handles are masked. Reveals a month: Free 5, Starter 50, Pro 100, Ultimate 6,000 |
| Shortlist | Favorite Lists, named up to 50 characters, exportable and invitable as a list | List names must be unique and up to 50 characters |
| Invite | Invite to campaign, invite to program or request to send product | Invites a month: Free 5, Starter 50, Pro 500, Ultimate 50,000. Emailed at 06:00 and 18:00 UTC |
| Message | Inbox with templates, attachments and bulk messages | Five bulk sends a day with five minutes between them |
| Negotiate | Pay, counter with Edit, or reject | Counters go to the creator for approval |
| Pay | Checkout from the Inbox | 30 minute window, minimum $10 |
- Inbox filters: campaign type, campaign status and platform. Each shows only the statuses that apply to the types you picked.
- Thread types: collaboration, affiliate and gifting, with a switcher when a creator has several.
- Message limits: ten files at a time, images up to 20 MB, videos 200 MB and PDFs 50 MB.
- Contact details are hidden before payment except on Ultimate, and a nightly check reviews unpaid offer chats.
- Archive in the offer menu closes the chat for both sides. Use it deliberately.
- Response time counts. Answering an offer within a day adds to your brand score, and unpaid offers trigger reminders after one and three days.
- If an invitation sent from search does not arrive, send it again from the creator’s profile or a saved list.
The step by step is in How to Find and Invite Creators.
Oversee affiliate and gifting programs
Affiliate and gifting campaigns need less approval work than paid deals but more watching. These are the controls a manager holds.
| Program | Control | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Affiliate | Commission per product | Set a rate from 0 up to, but not including, 100%. New products arrive at 15%. Free has a 25% floor. Changing a rate also changes existing partnerships, except ones with a custom rate |
| Affiliate | Product status | An inactive product is hidden and links stop earning. Switching a store off switches all its products off, and switching it on does not switch them back |
| Affiliate | Partnerships | Tabs for Applications, Partnered, Invitations, Revoked and Rejected. A rejection or revocation cannot be undone, so send a new invitation |
| Affiliate | Automatic Partnership Approval | Approves applications without a custom rate instantly. It is switched on for your stores when a paid plan starts and off when none is active |
| Affiliate | Billing | Sales wait 35 days. At 03:00 UTC your card is charged the full commission, with retries on other saved methods and up to three attempts a minute apart |
| Gifting | Board | Pending Influencer Acceptance, Requested, Accepted, Shipped, Received, Completed, Rejected and Archived. You move most cards yourself |
| Gifting | Shipping | The creator’s address shows once you accept it and locks at Shipped |
| Gifting | Settings that do nothing | Total units, units a month, low stock pause, roll over and summaries are stored but not acted on. Count units yourself |
- An affiliate campaign goes live the moment you save its products, with no review. If you set an end date it finishes then, and partnerships made through it close the next night.
- Gifting launches go through review. Changing a live program’s products sends it back to review, and there is no pause switch, so set an end date or ask our team.
- Gifting requests are cancelled by the system if the brand or the creator is suspended, and cannot be reopened.
- The affiliate platform has its own chat, but it is not supported. Talk to creators in the Ainfluencer Inbox.
- Pause or delete affiliate campaigns from the affiliate campaign list so the affiliate platform is updated too.

Quality control and approvals
Approval is the control point of the whole programme. It is the one step nobody can take for you, and the clock on it is real.
| Step | What to know |
|---|---|
| Review the delivery | Under Final Delivered Result: view the post, download, preview, copy a share link. Check it against the brief and any usage rights you agreed |
| Approve it | Releases the creator’s payment within about a minute. You cannot undo it, and the optional note goes to our team only |
| Disapprove it | Keeps the money held so the creator can fix the post and resubmit. If nothing changes you are refunded 14 days after the deal’s start date. Our team’s disapproval refunds at once |
| Do nothing | The deal fails and you are refunded roughly nine to ten days after a readable link is submitted, sooner for unreadable links. The creator is unpaid, and you can still approve later |
| Ask for changes early | Before the creator posts, Edit becomes a revision request: price, date, duration or bio link, up to two per deal |
| Late delivery | Creators can extend once and it applies immediately. With no delivery two days after the date, the deal expires |
- Usage rights are not part of the offer record. Agree reuse, paid ads and editing in the chat before you pay.
- Content library. Contents lists delivered content with download, a link to the live post and a share link anyone can open. It is owner only.
- Translation. Dub a delivered or uploaded video into other languages at $0.99 per minute per language, with videos up to a minute billed as one.
- Insights. Request a creator’s audience screenshots once per offer.
- Reviews. Rate performance, communication and agreed terms, add a public review, and answer privately whether you would work together again. Our team approves reviews before they appear.
Reporting you can show your team
Reporting is built from the posts themselves, and the numbers have known limits. State them when you present.
| Report | Shows | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Dashboard | Campaigns, offers, invitations sent, deals closed, offers waiting for payment, deliveries waiting for review, wallet and score | A summary view of the account |
| Scheduler | A calendar of posts per day with View Offer, Preview Campaign, View Feed and Analytics | Delivered content is reviewed in the Inbox chat, not here |
| Analytics | Likes, comments, views and saves per campaign and per creator, plus recommended creators | Only campaigns with an approved, link based delivery and at least one snapshot |
| Post Analytics | One post over time: likes, comments, engagement rate | Snapshots at about an hour, a day, three days and a week. No live refresh |
| Insights | A creator’s audience screenshots for the last 90 days | One request per offer, shared latest set |
| Affiliate dashboard | Per creator: clicks, orders, revenue driven, commission and amount owed, with a reporting period bar | The period chooses which creators are listed, but their figures are all time |
| Gifting board | Each creator’s stage, a table view and a CSV export | Open requests are not in the export |
| Advanced reports | Deeper analytics from your plan | Free 3, Starter 30, Pro 100 and Ultimate 1,000 a month, then $1.00, $0.75, $0.75 and $0.25 each from the wallet |
- On an affiliate campaign card the figure named Commission paid is the sales your creators drove, not what you were charged. Use Payouts and Payments for charges.
- The detailed Reports tabs in the seller app read Amazon data only. For Shopify use the dashboard.
- Every seller report has a Demo Data switch. Check it is off before you screenshot.
- Ainfluencer reports on the post, not on visits or purchases on your own site, apart from affiliate sales. Pair it with your own analytics and a bio link.
- Brand daily digest: a daily email of creator activity on affiliate and gifting campaigns, only on days with activity. Brands cannot switch it off on the web page.
Plan economics and plan changes
Choose the plan by the limits you actually hit. Use the fee only as a tiebreaker, because it matters at larger monthly spend.
| Move | Monthly creator spend where fee savings alone cover the price gap |
|---|---|
| Free to Starter | About $980 ($49 at 5 points) |
| Free to Pro | About $1,490 ($149 at 10 points) |
| Starter to Pro | About $2,000 ($100 at 5 points) |
| Pro to Ultimate | About $4,580 ($550 at 12 points) |
These use monthly prices of $49, $149 and $699. Quarterly is $43, $133 and $599.67 a month, and annual is $33.25, $104.08 and $499.92 a month, which lowers every threshold above.
| Free | Starter | Pro | Ultimate | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fee on paid collaborations | 25% | 20% | 15% | 3% |
| Campaigns held at once | 1 | 2 | 3 | Unlimited |
| Creator invitations a month | 5 | 50 | 500 | 50,000 |
| Gifting creators a month | 0 | 25 | 150 | Unlimited |
| Colleagues you can add | None | None | 2 | Unlimited |
| Connected stores or Amazon brands | 1 | 1 | 2 | Unlimited |
| Lowest affiliate commission | 25% | None | None | None |
| Open messaging before payment | No | No | No | Yes |
| Dedicated success manager | No | No | No | Yes |
- Upgrade: immediate. Stripe charges the prorated difference now, then the new price at renewal.
- Downgrade: queued for the end of the paid period, and the web app does not show that it is queued.
- Cancel: you keep the plan until the end of the period. A short survey comes first, and the window offers Move to Starter as an alternative.
- When a paid plan ends or a renewal fails, campaigns above the new limit are paused, oldest first, and extra colleagues are removed, with invitations first. Nothing is deleted. A failed renewal treats you as Free within the hour and does not un-pause campaigns when the payment later succeeds.
- Pause is not self serve. Ask our team for one to three months. It takes every live campaign off the marketplace while the plan, team and data stay.
- Extra invitations, seats and campaigns cannot be bought on their own.
- New conversations and collaborations a month appear on the plan comparison but are not enforced, so they are not a planning limit.
An operating calendar
Most of the platform runs on timers. Plan your week around them rather than waiting for something to happen.
| When (UTC) | What happens |
|---|---|
| 06:00 and 18:00 daily | Invitations go out as one grouped email per creator |
| 08:00 daily | Brand daily digest, on days with affiliate or gifting activity |
| 08:00 Tuesday | Suggested creators for each live campaign |
| 08:00 Wednesday | Suggested creators if you have no campaign |
| 24 and 72 hours after a draft | Reminder to finish the campaign |
| 1 and 3 days after an offer | Reminder to pay an offer you have not paid |
| 3 and 24 hours after opening checkout | Reminder if you left a checkout unpaid |
| 03:00 nightly | Affiliate billing run. Sales 35 or more days old are billed |
| Monthly anniversary | Allowances reset on paid plans. On Free they reset on the 1st |
| About 9 to 10 days after submission | An unapproved delivery fails and is refunded |

Questions marketing managers ask
Can I give a colleague limited access?
Not yet. Roles are not available, so every colleague has the same access as you apart from the profile and settings pages. Only add people you would let pay an offer.
Can I cap what a colleague spends?
No. The wallet is the cap, so keep the balance at what you want to risk and top it up deliberately.
Why did my approved campaign disappear?
Either it was edited and is waiting for review again, or it was paused: by you, by our team, by the plan check or by a subscription pause. The card tells you which.
Why can I not resume a campaign?
You need a free campaign slot, and a paused subscription blocks resuming altogether. Pause or delete another campaign, or upgrade.
Can I report on website conversions?
Not from paid collaborations. Ainfluencer reports on the post. Use a link in the creator’s bio with your own analytics, or run an affiliate campaign.
What happens to my campaigns if the card fails at renewal?
You are treated as Free within the hour, campaigns above the Free limit are paused, and they stay paused after you pay until you switch them on.
Can an agency or freelancer see our content?
Use the share link on a delivered post. Giving them a seat gives them your full access, including payments.
Who do I contact when something looks wrong?
The support chat inside your account. Include the campaign, the creator and the date.
