Know which app does what
Affiliate work is split across two places that share a login by email. Knowing which task lives where saves most of the confusion.
| Task | Where it lives |
|---|---|
| Create, edit, pause or share an affiliate campaign | The Ainfluencer web app, Campaigns and the Affiliate dashboard |
| Chat with creators | The Ainfluencer Inbox. The seller app’s own chat is not supported |
| Products, commissions, brands and stores | The seller app |
| Partnerships: applications, invitations, revocations | The seller app |
| Discount codes | The seller app for Amazon, the Shopify admin for Shopify |
| Reports and exports | The seller app. Shopify activity is on the dashboard |
| Card and commission statements | Billing and Payments in the seller app, and the Payouts tab in the Ainfluencer Affiliate dashboard |
| Plan for affiliate limits | Manage Subscription in the seller app |
- Open the seller app from Advanced Affiliate Dashboard on the Ainfluencer Affiliate dashboard. It signs you in with no second password. The link is generated when the page loads and expires after about an hour, so refresh the page if it fails.
- Accounts link by email. If your Ainfluencer email differs from the one on an existing seller account you get a second, empty account, and the two cannot be merged automatically.
- To sign in directly at seller.ainfluencer.com, use Forgot password with the same email. Your Ainfluencer password does not work there.
- A seller account is created the first time you use an affiliate feature, such as connecting a store, adding the card or creating a campaign.
- Seller and affiliate are separate profiles on one login. The Change Panel switch in the user menu moves between them, and each has its own setup.
Give the team the right access
Unlike the main Ainfluencer account, the seller app has real roles. Use them, because anything a member does is done in the owner’s account.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Create a role | Account settings, Team, Your Team Roles, Create New Role. Tick permissions per area, such as view, create, update, delete or export |
| Areas you can control | Brands (all or chosen ones), products, affiliates, promotions, partnership, messages, reports, payments, email campaigns, help center, wallet, profile, settings and lists |
| Invite | Send New Invitation with an email and a role. The invitee needs a seller account with that email, so ask them to sign up first |
| Accept | The invitee accepts under Account settings, Team, Invited Teams, then uses Switch Teams in the sidebar |
| Change or remove | The owner can Change Role, Remove or Cancel Invitation |
- Member access to another team lasts one day at a time, after which they switch in again.
- A page a member is not allowed to open sends them back to the dashboard without a message.
- A role that still has members cannot be deleted, and only pending invitations can be cancelled.
- Plans list a team size (Free 0, Starter 2, Pro 3, Ultimate unlimited) but the system does not enforce it today.
- Give export reports and payments only to people who need them. Exports need their own permission.
- This team is separate from the Ainfluencer web app’s Team Members, which has no roles.
Govern products and commissions
Commission is set per product, and the rules about what a change touches are where most surprises come from.
| Action | What it touches |
|---|---|
| Set a commission | From 0 up to, but not including, 100%, on one product or up to 100 in a save. New products arrive at 15% |
| Change a commission | Copied to every existing partnership item for that product that has no custom rate, including revoked ones. Partnered creators are notified |
| Unbilled Amazon sales | Re-priced at the new rate on the next report sync, because the last 60 days are re-read |
| Shopify sales | Priced once, at the moment of purchase, and not re-priced |
| Switch a product off | Hidden from creators. Links stop earning, and Amazon sales dated after the switch earn nothing |
| Switch a brand or store off | Every product in it switches off. Switching it on again does not switch the products on |
| Add a product to a brand | Added automatically to the active brand partnerships |
- Plan minimum. Free sets the lowest commission at 25%. Starter and above have none. Below the minimum you see an Upgrade to Ultimate pop-up.
- Active program limit. Amazon brands and Shopify stores count together: Free 1, Starter 1, Pro 2, Ultimate unlimited. New brands and stores start off and are switched on up to the limit, best first. A brand you switched off is never switched back on by a refresh.
- Check rates after a catalogue refresh. A re-import may write the default 15% onto an existing product or turn a switched off product back on under an active brand. Existing partnerships keep their own rate.
- Brand page extras: bio and image, social links, a terms of sales file (PDF, DOC or DOCX up to 4 MB) that partnered creators are emailed about when it changes, media assets, and for Amazon an approved Amazon brand link.
- Branded landing page. Created automatically. Choose up to three featured products and hide featured products or analytics. Buttons are disabled while the brand is inactive, and a Shopify store’s address cannot be changed.
Recruit without wasting invitations
Recruiting is limited by who can be found, how many you can invite, and whether you hold a card.
| Source | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Affiliate Discovery | Registered affiliates with an approved social account or website. Filter by platform, category, partnership status, partners, location, gender, promotional methods and follower range per network, or show Pro Affiliates only |
| Expanded Network | Creators Ainfluencer imported who have not joined. Emails, phones and websites show Reveal to access |
| Influencer Discovery | Ainfluencer’s own creator search, with the paid and gifting actions |
| Your landing page | Visitors apply from the public page. Guests finish after signing up in the affiliate app |
| Ainfluencer campaigns | Creators find affiliate campaigns in the mobile app and join with one tap, with no approval from you |
Lists and reveals
- Lists are Manual or Smart. A Smart List updates from its filters and the filters are fixed once created. Names can be up to 100 characters, and Expanded Network lists are manual only.
- Reveals. Free reveals come from the plan (Starter 50, Pro 100, Ultimate 6,000, none on Free), counted over a rolling 24 hours. Past that, each costs $0.10 from the seller wallet, and only emails not revealed before are charged. Approving a partnership reveals that creator’s contact details for free.
- The bulk Reveal Emails button in Discovery is currently broken. Reveal from the creator’s profile or from a list instead.
- Send Partnership Request from a list also fails. Use Promote Products To My Lists on My Products, or invite individually.
| Invitations a day | Free | Starter | Pro | Ultimate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Limit | 5 | 50 | 500 | 50,000 |
- The seller app counts invitations per UTC day, although plan pages call them monthly. The counter in the user menu is the truth.
- A card is required to invite or accept, or the app sends you to Billing.
- An invited creator can accept only after the Affiliate platform holds an approved social account or website for them, so a new creator’s invitation can stay pending for a while.
Run the partnership queue
Partnerships move through five tabs. Treat them as a daily queue.
| Tab | What it holds | Your action |
|---|---|---|
| Applications | Creators who asked to partner | Accept or reject. A rejection cannot be undone |
| Partnered | Active contracts with a snapshot of each product’s commission | Revoke if needed |
| Invitations | Invitations you sent that are waiting | Cancel |
| Revoked | Ended contracts | Send a new invitation. A revoked partnership cannot be reopened |
| Rejected | Declined applications or invitations | None |
- Accept creates the contract, creates the creator’s tracked links, shares your contact details and reveals theirs, and notifies them.
- Automatic Partnership Approval approves applications with no custom rate instantly. It is switched on for all your brands when a paid subscription starts and off when none is active, overriding your own choice, so check it after any plan change.
- Custom commission on an invitation needs a plan with private commission, which no current plan row includes. Brand invitations always use each product’s own rate.
- Active contract limit: Free 5, Starter 25, Pro 200, Ultimate unlimited.
- You get a daily email at 08:00 UTC listing requests that are still pending.
- My Affiliate List shows partnered creators with platforms, active products, sales, revenue and partner date.
Contracts end in more ways than you click. A manual revocation sends no notification, and the creator only sees links stop. Contracts also end when an Ainfluencer campaign finishes (the next night at 02:00 UTC), when a plan change removes them, and silently when a creator joins one of your Ainfluencer campaigns with a product they already promote, which moves that product into the campaign and keeps the link working.
Offer codes and understand the shopper path
A creator link opens a product page on the shopper site, which sends the shopper on to your store. What happens along the way is yours to shape.
| Topic | Detail |
|---|---|
| Shopify codes | Basic active discount codes in the Shopify admin are imported as public promotions and kept in step. Creators attach one to a link |
| Amazon codes | Create a promotion in the seller app and the same code in Amazon Seller Central. Codes are 8 to 12 letters and numbers, public or private, with from and to dates. Only the duration can be extended later |
| Plan | Promotions are not on any current plan row, so creating one can show Promotion Creation Limited |
| Who sees the code | Only signed in shoppers. Guests see a Login to See prompt |
| Deleting | Removes it from Ainfluencer, never from Amazon |
| Expiry | An hourly check marks a promotion expired once its end date passes, and extending an expired one does not reactivate it |
- The shopper clicks a creator’s link, lands on a product page with your brand, the creator and any coupon, and clicks Buy Now to reach your store with tracking attached. Orders, payment, delivery and returns stay in your store.
- If a product is out of stock, removed or its link is revoked, the shopper goes where the creator’s redirect settings say, such as the creator’s storefront.
- Creators can pick Amazon or Shopify as a redirect target, but those two options currently show an error to shoppers, so ask your creators to choose Landing.
Understand the money and your exposure
You pay commission after a delay and in one nightly run. Plan for the cash and for what happens if the card fails.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Sale | Amazon sales arrive from report syncs over the last 60 days. Shopify purchases are recorded as they happen, with commission since early October 2026 |
| Hold | A sale cannot be billed until it is 35 days old |
| Nightly run | At 03:00 UTC, up to 10 sellers each night, each at most once every 24 hours. Unbilled sales are added up per creator and per currency |
| Charge | Your card is charged the full commission. The creator’s share, minus the platform fee, goes to their Stripe account in the same payment |
| Failure | Other saved methods are tried, then up to three attempts a minute apart. A failed line shows Retry |
| Statement | Commission Statements list every charge with a Get Invoice button |
| Platform fee on commission | Free | Starter | Pro | Ultimate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Amazon sales | About 5% | 20% | 15% | 3% |
| Shopify purchases | 5% | 5% | 5% | 5% |
- The fee comes out of the commission you pay, and the creator receives the rest. It does not add to your charge.
- No card means paused campaigns. Affiliate campaigns of a seller without a saved card are paused every night at 02:30 UTC and are not resumed automatically.
- Sales for a creator who has not connected Stripe are skipped and stay unbilled until they do.
- Shopify refunds and cancellations are not automatically deducted. Keep your own view of returns and raise a question with support if an order was refunded.
- Shopify purchases recorded before early October 2026 carry no commission, and are not charged.
- If the tracking pixel does not send line items, the whole order total can be the commission base.
- Read the statement carefully: the Total Fee and Total Paid columns add the fee on top, but your card was charged only the commission, and the Total Sale column shows units sold formatted as money.
Read the reports with their limits
The reports are built from partner attributed activity, and the two stores report in different places.
| Where | What it shows | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Seller dashboard | Counters for brands, products, affiliates, promotions and contracts, last week’s performance, top products and top affiliates, recent partnerships | Shopify activity appears here |
| Reports: Performance, Brand, Product, Affiliate | Clicks, add to carts, sales, conversions and conversion rate (purchases divided by clicks), with filters and a compare option | Amazon data only |
| Reports: BRB | Amazon Brand Referral Bonus per product | Amazon only |
| Affiliates tab in Ainfluencer | Per creator: clicks, orders, revenue driven, commission earned and owed | The reporting period chooses which creators are listed, but their figures are all time |
- Amazon data is pulled from Amazon’s attribution reports every few days at 06:00 UTC, over the last 60 days, so a sale can take about four days to appear, and recent numbers can move.
- Amazon counts a sale if it happens within 14 days of the click. Sales after a product was deactivated are dropped.
- Export Data As CSV needs the export reports permission, and the downloaded file is an Excel spreadsheet.
- Every report page has a Demo Data switch that shows made up numbers. Check it is off before you screenshot.
- If reports stop updating, check the Amazon connection: an expired authorisation marks the account disconnected until you reconnect.
- On an affiliate campaign card, Commission paid is the sales creators drove. Real charges are in your commission statements.
Plan guardrails and what a downgrade does
The affiliate plan table and the main Ainfluencer plan table are separate. Read the affiliate values for anything that happens in the seller app.
| Free | Starter | Pro | Ultimate | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Active brands or stores | 1 | 1 | 2 | Unlimited |
| Active contracts | 5 | 25 | 200 | Unlimited |
| Invitations a day | 5 | 50 | 500 | 50,000 |
| New conversations a day | 5 | 25 | 100 | Unlimited |
| Lowest commission | 25% | None | None | None |
| Email reveals | None | 50 | 100 | 6,000 |
| Premium affiliate tools | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Advanced analytics reports | 3 | 30 | 100 | 1,000 |
| Success manager | No | No | No | Yes |
- Brand limits were lowered on 2026-10-10 (Starter from 2 to 1, Pro from 5 to 2). Sellers who already had more brands switched on keep them but cannot switch on more.
- Upgrades are immediate and prorated. Downgrades are queued to the end of the paid period, and the cancel flow keeps the plan until the end date.
- A failed renewal treats you as Free within the hour, with Free limits and the Free fee, and turns automatic approval off.
What a downgrade switches off. When a paid plan ends, anything above the new limits is switched off, lowest selling first: contracts are revoked, brands and products set inactive, Amazon accounts disconnected, promotions deleted if the new plan has none, and custom rate contracts revoked. On the Free plan any commission below 25% is raised to 25% on products and on every existing contract, which raises what you are charged. Nothing switches back on after an upgrade, so check rates before you downgrade.

Questions affiliate managers ask
Why were all my applications approved?
Automatic Partnership Approval is on. It follows your subscription and is switched on for every brand when a paid plan starts. Turn it off on the brand page if you want to review each one.
Why are some of my brands inactive?
Your plan limits active brands and stores. New ones start off and are switched on up to the limit, best first.
I changed a commission. Who is affected?
All your partnerships on that product, except custom rates. Unbilled Amazon sales are re-priced, and Shopify sales are not.
A creator says their links stopped working.
The partnership was revoked, a product was switched off or the campaign finished. A revoked partnership cannot be reopened, so send a new invitation.
Why was I charged for sales I do not remember?
They are commission for sales made through your creators’ links at least 35 days ago. Open Get Invoice for the products behind each charge.
My Shopify reports are empty.
The Reports tabs read Amazon data only. Shopify activity is on the dashboard.
How do I message creators?
Use the Ainfluencer Inbox. After a partnership is approved you also have their contact details.
Can I use a fixed amount commission?
Sellers set percentages. Do not rely on fixed amounts, which are not calculated correctly today.
