Use Case Guide · For UGC Creators

Ainfluencer for UGC Creators

UGC creators are paid to make content, and sometimes never post it. This guide follows the files from the brief to the brand’s content library, the share link and the payout, including the Upload Content route for content only deals.

Stop 1

What UGC means on Ainfluencer

UGC creators make photos and videos for a brand. On Ainfluencer the brand decides whether you also post them, and that decision changes how you deliver.

When a brand builds a paid collaboration it answers one question first: what do you expect influencers to do? There are three answers.

Brand’s choiceWhat you doHow you deliver
Post my existing contentPublish the files the brand supplies on your accountPaste the link to your post
Create and publish contentMake the content and post it on your accountPaste the link to your post
Only create content for meMake the content and hand it overUpload the files in the app
  • A paid collaboration chat is labelled UGC Collab in the mobile app and Collab on the web.
  • A deal is paid in full by the brand into escrow before you start, and released when the brand approves what you deliver.
  • You work in the Ainfluencer mobile app. The website is for brands.
  • Gifting and affiliate campaigns have no offer form. This guide is about paid collaborations.

Read the brief like a producer

Every campaign is a short brief the brand filled in. Open it before you price anything.

Brief fieldWhat it tells you
What influencers doWhether you only create, or also post
Influencer sizeNano 5k to 10k, Micro 10k to 100k, Macro 100k to 1m, Mega over 1m, or any range
Gender, countries, languageWho the brand wants. Campaigns limited by gender or country reject offers that do not match, unless you were invited
Shipping productsWhether physical products come to you, and from which countries
How long a post stays upNegotiable per offer, permanent, or a set duration
Bio linkWhether you must add the brand’s link to your bio
Platforms and post typesInstagram Feed, Story or Reel, TikTok Video, YouTube Video, with an optional caption
Content from the brandUp to 10 images or videos for you to use, and a short description of the brand
  • Only campaigns that are active and approved appear, from brands that are not suspended.
  • A campaign can be open to everyone or limited to invited creators only.
  • Brands have no end date on a campaign. It stays until they pause or delete it.
  • You can make one offer per account per campaign, so read first.

Pitch with a portfolio of files

The offer form is where a UGC creator shows work. Fill the portfolio and the pitch properly, because a brand reads them before it pays.

Part of the formWhat to put in it
Delivery ScheduleThe date you will deliver. The default is two weeks out, and under 14 days shows a short deadline warning
DurationHow long a post stays up, or Permanent. The minimum is four hours
Your Desired PriceA suggested price for your account is shown. The minimum is $10
Your pitchWhat you propose to make, in 50 to 250 characters
Topics and audienceWhat you create about and who it is for, 50 to 250 characters each
Collab typesAt least one
PortfolioInsight screenshots and past collaboration images or videos
  • Emails, phone numbers, links and handles are blocked in the text. Describe your work in words instead.
  • Your portfolio is saved to your profile and prefills your next offer.
  • Price for the creation and any edits. About 20% of the fee comes out when you withdraw.
  • Choose Review your offer, then Send Offer. The brand sees it as awaiting payment, and a chat opens.
  • If your account is still under review, the offer is held and delivered to the brand when you become Active.
Stop 4

Agree the terms before the brand pays

Everything that shapes the job is settled in the chat before payment. After payment the terms are much harder to move.

MomentWhat can changeWho decides
Before paymentPrice, delivery date, duration, bio linkThe brand can counter. You accept, edit or reject
After paymentTerms through a revision requestThe brand asks. You accept or reject. Up to two by default
Any time before deliveryThe delivery dateYou can extend the deadline from the deal card
  • Paying is the brand’s acceptance. Once it pays, the card reads Paid and Scheduled and you get a push.
  • Settle what you will hand over, how many files, which formats, and how many edits you include, in the chat before payment.
  • Contact details are hidden until payment, and a nightly check reviews unpaid chats. Keep the conversation on Ainfluencer.
  • A higher price in a revision is paid by the brand and held for you. If you reject the revision, the old terms stay and the brand is refunded the extra.

Deliver files with Upload Content

For a content only deal you do not post and you do not paste a link. You upload the files from your phone.

  1. Open the deal chat. The card shows a countdown to the publish date.
  2. Create the content following the brief and the agreed terms.
  3. Tap Upload Content and choose your images or videos.
  4. The brand sees a published content message in the chat, and the card reads Published and Waiting Approval.
If the deal isYou deliver with
Content onlyUpload Content
Content and postingSubmit Instagram Post, Submit TikTok Post, Submit YouTube Post or Submit Post URL, with up to five links
  • You can add more images or videos later with Add More Images/Videos, but at least one item must always remain.
  • You are reminded 72, 24, 12, 6 and 3 hours before the publish date.
  • Uploading moves the deal’s start date to seven days later. That is the brand’s approval window.
  • If you deliver nothing, the deal expires two days after the publish date and the brand is refunded at three days.
  • You can still deliver after a deadline passes as long as the deal is paid and not yet refunded. Extend the deadline first if you can.
  • In the mobile chat, uploaded videos in the delivery message show a still frame rather than a player.

Stop 6

What the brand does with your files

Your files go into the brand’s own content tools. Knowing them helps you deliver in a way that is easy to approve.

WhereWhat the brand can do
Deal chat, Final Delivered ResultPreview in a phone style frame, View Post, Download, Copy a share link, Approve it or Disapprove it
Contents pageAll delivered content in one library with View details, Download, View live post, Translate and Copy share link. Status reads Approved, Pending or Draft
Share linkAnyone with the link can view the delivered files without a login. It does not expire
TranslateA paid dub into other languages, in your own voice
  • The Contents page is for the account owner only. Team members use the inbox chat.
  • The share link opens a simple viewer with the files and nothing else. No caption, no creator details, no approve button.
  • A share link works only for deliveries with uploaded files. A delivery that is just a post link has none.
  • A brand cannot switch a share link off from its account. Share files with brands you trust.
  • You are not notified when a brand copies a share link or orders a translation, so agree how the brand may use the content in the chat before it pays.
Stop 7

Approval, and what to do while you wait

Payment is released only when the brand or Ainfluencer approves. Nothing approves a delivery by itself.

What happensResult for you
The brand approvesThe money moves to your wallet within about a minute and you are told Campaign delivery was approved
The brand disapprovesThe money stays on hold. Talk to the brand, fix the files and upload again. The deal goes back to waiting
An Ainfluencer admin disapprovesThe brand is refunded at once and the card reads Rejected by Admin
Nobody approvesThe brand is refunded about ten days after your upload
  • Message the brand the day you upload and ask for approval. That is the step most deals lose time on.
  • The brand sees Published for both waiting and approved deliveries, so it may not notice a deal is close to its refund.
  • A brand can still approve after a refund, which takes the price from its wallet again.
  • A deal waiting for approval does not show in your Scheduler tabs. Open it from your inbox.
  • The approval box disappears once anyone has reviewed. Ask support if a decision was a mistake.

Protect your work and your account

A few habits keep UGC deals from turning into disputes.

Do notWhy
Start before the brand has paidUntil payment there is no escrow and no deal to approve
Take the conversation off AinfluencerContact details are hidden until payment, and a Violation Notice can follow
Delete all your files from a deliveryAt least one item must remain
Miss the date silentlyThe deal expires and the brand is refunded. Use Extend Deadline early
Deliver something that differs from the agreed briefThe brand can disapprove, and the money stays held
  • You can control emails and push notices by category in Account Settings.
  • A suspension has no end date. Tap Appeal Suspension on the account card once per suspension.
  • Unblocking a brand and cancelling a withdrawal need support.

Questions UGC creators ask

Do I have to post the content?

Only if the brief says so. For a content only deal you upload the files instead of a link.

I uploaded my files and the deal vanished from my Scheduler.

It is waiting for approval. Open it from your inbox, where it reads Published and Waiting Approval.

The brand has not approved. Will I lose the payment?

If nobody approves, the brand is refunded about ten days after your upload. Message the brand and ask for approval inside that week.

Can the brand share my files with its agency?

Yes. It can copy a share link that anyone can open. Agree usage in the chat first.

Can the brand translate my video?

A brand can order a dub into other languages. You are not asked or told, so cover it in the agreed terms.

Can I add files after delivering?

Yes, with Add More Images/Videos, but at least one item must always remain.

What is the lowest price I can offer?

$10 is the minimum offer.

From brief to paid files

The UGC route in order.

1Read the brief and note whether you only create or also post.
2Send an offer with a clear pitch and a portfolio of past files.
3Settle files, formats and edits in the chat before the brand pays.
4Create the content and upload it with Upload Content.
5Message the brand for approval the same day.
6Fix anything the brand disapproves and upload again.
