Use Case Guide · For Art, Craft and Music Brands

Ainfluencer for Art, Craft and Music Brands

Makers and musicians turn your product into a finished piece. This guide covers the craft categories that overlap, the content only route that hands you the files, and how to send materials and instruments.

Stop 1

The Art, Crafts, Music and Performing branch

The branch holds about 19,300 creator accounts in seventeen categories. Two clusters matter to a brand that sells a product: makers and musicians.

ClusterCategoryCreator accounts, rounded
MakersCraft / DIY1,300
MakersPainting / Fine Arts1,300
MakersArt1,300
MakersDesign1,000
MakersCrafts500
MakersSculpture100
MusiciansMusic8,000
MusiciansMusical Instruments800
EntertainmentGeneral Entertainment, Film / Cinema / Performing, Movies, Performing, Dance11,300 together, with overlap
  • Music is the biggest category by far, but Musical Instruments is the closer match for a product that is an instrument or an accessory.
  • The entertainment categories are large, and most are about performance rather than making.
  • Counts are accounts that picked the category, including some still in review, so search shows fewer.
Stop 2

Three craft categories that overlap

Craft creators are spread over several categories with similar names, and a single search misses most of them.

CategoryBranchCreator accounts, rounded
Craft / DIYArt, Crafts, Music and Performing1,300
CraftsArt, Crafts, Music and Performing500
DIYHome, Garden and DIY1,700
DIY / AssemblyHome, Garden and DIY600
  • Search Craft / DIY, Crafts and DIY as three separate searches, then save the best creators to one list.
  • The accounts overlap, so the same maker may appear twice. Use the list to remove duplicates.
  • For paint, pencils and canvas, add Painting / Fine Arts and Art. For product design tools, add Design.
  • For an instrument, search Musical Instruments, then Music.

Stop 3

A maker’s best deliverable is the content itself

In a paid collaboration the brand decides what influencers do. For a maker, one of the three options is often the most useful.

Brief optionWhat the creator doesHow they deliver
Post my existing contentPublish your files on their accountA link to the post
Create and publish contentMake the content and post itA link to the post
Only create content for meMake the content and hand it overUpload Content with images or videos
  • A content only deal needs no post link. The creator uploads files from the phone, and you see them as the Final Delivered Result.
  • Uploading moves the deal’s start date to seven days later. That is your approval window.
  • You can download the files, copy a share link, or find them on the Contents page, which is for the account owner.
  • A share link opens the files in a simple viewer without a login and does not expire.
  • A brand can also order a dubbed version of a video in other languages. The creator is not asked, so agree usage in the chat first.

Stop 4

Brief the process, not just the product

A maker’s audience watches the work happen, so the brief should say which moment you want to see.

Brief fieldSuggestion
Platforms and post typesInstagram Feed, Story or Reel, TikTok Video, YouTube Video
Post durationPermanent suits work that stays in a portfolio. A set duration must be at least four hours
Bio linkSwitch it on if you want your product page linked
CaptionUp to 2,200 characters and 30 hashtags, with no contact details
Upload some contentUp to ten images or videos, for example materials or a finished example
  • Saving the upload step with at least one file submits the campaign for review by our team.
  • Describe materials and techniques in the description so creators can say whether they use them.
Stop 5

Sending materials and instruments

Whether you gift a kit or send an instrument, you ship it yourself.

RouteShipping
Gifting programYou set Ship from and Ship to, the creator picks an address, and you move the card to Shipped
Paid collaboration on ShopifySend via Shopify creates a free order, and Track123 tracks the parcel
Paid collaboration elsewhereShip by hand and share the tracking number in the chat
  • An instrument is a costly physical product. At checkout of a paid collaboration you can switch on insurance and enter its value.
  • Insurance covers product not returned and no-show creators. Gifting has no checkout, so it has none.
  • The address locks when a gifting card reaches Shipped.

Questions art, craft and music brands ask

Yes, with Copy share link in the inbox. Anyone with the link can view the files.

Does the platform check that my product is used?
