Affiliate Basics & Setup
How creator-led affiliate programs work on Ainfluencer — connect once, the platform handles the rest.
Yes. Ainfluencer is built as a full affiliate platform — connect your Shopify or Amazon store once, set your commission rates, and the platform handles tracking, attribution, and creator payouts automatically.
For non-Shopify/non-Amazon merchants, run a Paid Collaboration with your existing affiliate links (requires Pro or Ultimate plan).
The seller dashboard lives at seller.ainfluencer.com and is separate from the regular brand dashboard at app.ainfluencer.com. It centers on products, commissions, and affiliate partnerships — every click, conversion, and dollar flows through it in real time.
Top tiles: Brands (connected stores), Products (your synced catalog), Affiliate Partnerships, Promotion, Contracts. The performance strip shows last-7-day clicks, conversions, and commission paid. Full UI walkthrough in Commissions & Affiliate Payouts.
Two different surfaces, sometimes both:
- app.ainfluencer.com — influencer marketing campaigns (paid, barter, hybrid). Use this if your main goal is content + reach.
- seller.ainfluencer.com — product-based affiliate program. Use this if your main goal is sales attribution at scale.
If you’re an e-commerce brand running both content and sales, you’ll likely use both — they share one login.
From Campaigns on the seller dashboard: pick a campaign type → connect your store (if not already done) → set commission rates → publish. Affiliates discover the campaign in their feed and start generating tracking links for your products.
Three common reasons specific to affiliate campaigns:
- You’re using a third-party affiliate platform with no payment on Ainfluencer — upgrade your plan, OR set up your affiliate program on Ainfluencer (Shopify/Amazon). See rejection details.
- You want to keep your external affiliate program — upgrade is required.
- Barter / gifted-products / third-party affiliate — upgrade OR fund wallet $2,000.
You have two valid paths. Path A: upgrade to Pro or Ultimate and keep using your existing external affiliate platform (Refersion, Awin, ShareASale, etc.). Path B: keep your Free plan and set up your affiliate program natively on Ainfluencer by connecting Shopify or Amazon.
Most brands eventually pick Path B because the native integration is faster, cheaper, and gives you everything in one dashboard. See pricing for the upgrade option.
If your campaign uses a third-party affiliate program (Refersion, Awin, etc.) and you want to keep using it instead of switching to Ainfluencer’s native system, you’ll need to upgrade to a paid plan. The Free plan only supports native affiliate programs.
See current plan pricing, or connect Shopify to use the native system for free.
Some campaign types — barter, gifted-products, third-party affiliate programs — require either a plan upgrade or a $2,000 wallet deposit before activation. The wallet deposit signals serious intent and stays available to pay creators.
Either path is fine. The wallet deposit is non-refundable to bank but never expires for use on the platform — see wallet rules.
