Review & Approval

Get your content approved smoothly and handle issues that come up during review.

There is no fixed review time and, importantly, there is no automatic approval. If the brand simply does nothing, the deal does not quietly complete in your favour. It fails, and the money goes back to them.

What you submittedHow long before the deal fails
A readable post link, or uploaded filesAbout 9 days, with the refund about a day later
A story, a private post, or an unreadable link2 days after the agreed publish date, refund at 3

This is why chasing matters. A polite message in the deal chat after a couple of days is not pushy, it is the only thing standing between a delivered post and an automatic refund. Say you have submitted and ask them to approve so the payment can be released.

Less clearly than you would expect, so it is worth knowing exactly what to look for.

If the brand disapproves, you get an email. That is the main signal. No message is posted in the deal chat, and the offer card does not change to anything describing a problem.

There is a further catch. When the brand disapproves, they are asked for a note, and that note is labelled in their interface as going only to Ainfluencer support, not to you. So the reason may never reach you. If you get a disapproval email, ask the brand directly in the chat what they want changed.

Act, rather than wait, because the clock is running towards a refund rather than towards a payment.

  1. Confirm the submission landed: the offer card should read Published & Waiting Approval.
  2. Check the post is public and still live, and that the link you submitted opens it.
  3. Message the brand in the deal chat. Mention that you have submitted and that approval releases the payment, since many brands do not realise this.
  4. If there is no response and you are approaching a week since submitting, contact support with the offer link before the deal fails.

Do not delete or re-post the content to get attention. Deleting the live post removes the only thing the brand can approve, and re-posting gives you a new link that you then have to submit again.

Follow the brief exactly: required @mentions, #hashtags, FTC disclosure (#ad, #sponsored), the right product, the agreed format. Don’t add extra branded content from competitors. Don’t delete the post early, it needs to stay live for the deal to remain in good standing.

Often, yes, and the deciding factor is whether the money has gone back to the brand yet.

The gap between failing and being refunded is roughly a day, so a failed deal is worth acting on the same day you notice it.

The deadline is enforced by a timer rather than by a person, so it is strict in the sense that nobody is deciding to be lenient. But it is movable, and the tool is on the offer card: Extend Deadline.

  1. Ask the brand in the chat first. An extension they are expecting is rarely a problem; one that arrives as a surprise can sour the deal.
  2. Use Extend Deadline on the offer card and set a date in the future.
  3. Do it before the current date passes. It is far easier than recovering a failed deal.

There is no automatic penalty on your account for being late. What you actually risk is the deal failing and the money going back to the brand, and the brand’s impression of you, which affects whether they work with you again.

Be clear about what the platform can and cannot do here, because the right first move depends on it.

There is no dispute or arbitration process. No panel reads the chat log and rules in someone’s favour. What exists is a support team that can look at a deal, and an admin who can approve a delivery the brand has not approved.

  1. Keep everything in the deal chat. The chat is the record, and a conversation that happened on WhatsApp is a conversation support cannot see.
  2. Ask the brand plainly what they want changed, and offer it if it is within the original brief.
  3. If they will not engage, contact support before the deal fails, with the offer link, the brief and your live post.
  4. Say clearly that you delivered to brief and are asking for the delivery to be reviewed.

Timing is everything. Once the deal fails and the refund goes through, the money is back with the brand and your case is much weaker. Raise it while the money is still held.

Knowing their side helps you chase effectively, because brands often do not know approval is what pays you.

  1. Your delivery appears in their inbox chat as Final Delivered Result, with a preview of the post.
  2. Underneath it they see a box: Let our Admin team know if you approve this collaboration, with Approve it and Disapprove it.
  3. Clicking either opens a note box, then Submit.
  4. On approve, your money is released within about a minute.

If a brand says they cannot find where to approve, tell them: open the chat with me in your inbox, scroll to Final Delivered Result, and the buttons are under it. The box disappears once anyone has reviewed, so if they cannot see it, it may already be done.

Not immediately, and this window is your chance to fix it.

When a brand disapproves, the money stays held. It is not returned to them until 14 days after the deal’s start date. Until then the deal is still recoverable.

  1. Message the brand and ask what was wrong, since their note went to Ainfluencer rather than to you.
  2. Fix the post, or post a corrected version.
  3. Submit the new link from the offer card.
  4. The deal returns to waiting for approval and the brand can approve it.

One thing to know so you do not waste days waiting: after disapproving, the approve and disapprove box disappears from the brand’s inbox, so a brand who changes their mind may genuinely be unable to approve you from their screen. If they say they want to approve but cannot, ask them to contact support, since an admin can do it.

A large one, and it decides whether you have any time left:

Can you fix it?Yes, submit a corrected linkNo, the deal is over

An admin disapproval usually means the delivery broke the campaign terms rather than that the brand disliked it. If you believe it was a mistake, reply to the email with the offer link and your evidence, and ask for it to be looked at again.

No. This is worth being clear about, because it is easy to assume otherwise.

When you submit a link, our system tries to fetch the post, to save a copy of the media and caption and to confirm the post exists. It does not read your caption for required mentions, hashtags or disclosures, and it will not warn you if something is missing. The check that matters is a person: the brand, or an Ainfluencer admin.

So re-read the brief against your caption before you post, not after. The things most often missed are the exact branded hashtag, the mention of the brand account rather than just a tag in the image, and the disclosure. A missing disclosure is also a legal requirement in many countries, not just a campaign rule.

Yes to both, which is more useful to you than it sounds.

Nothing forces a brand to wait for a link before approving, and a deal showing Failed can still be approved. So if you delivered in a way the system could not record, for example a story that expired, or you delivered late and the deal failed, the brand can still choose to pay you.

If the deal was already refunded, approving takes the price from the brand’s wallet again, and they will see You currently do not have enough funds in your wallet if the balance is short. That is the usual reason a willing brand cannot approve you, and it is fixed by them adding funds, not by support.

More people than the brand, so treat delivered content as shareable.

Where it goesWho can see it
The brand’s inbox chatThe brand, and any team member on their account
The brand’s Contents libraryThe account owner. Team members cannot open that page
A public share link the brand can copyAnyone who has the link, with no login

That share link is how brands send your work to their own clients and agencies, which is normal and usually good for you. But it means delivered content is not private to the deal, so agree usage rights in the chat before you deliver if that matters to you.

No. If you have been told that the system approves content automatically after a certain date, that is not what happens, and acting on it will cost you the fee.

Approval is the only thing that releases money. When nobody approves, the deal is marked failed and the brand is refunded. There is no date on which an unapproved delivery turns into a payment.

The practical rule: treat silence as a problem, not as progress. Every day the brand does not approve brings the deal closer to a refund, so a reminder in the chat after two or three days is the right move, not an impatient one.
