For Creators

Creator Account Setup

Sign up, link your social account, get verified, and activate your Ainfluencer profile so you can start applying to paid campaigns from brands.

Creators sign up on the Ainfluencer mobile app — download it from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), then:

  1. Tap Sign Up and enter your first name, last name, email, and a password.
  2. Open your inbox and enter the 5-digit verification code we send to confirm your email.
  3. On the Welcome screen, tap Get Started for Free.
  4. Pick your platform: Instagram, TikTok, or both.
  5. Enter your exact public social handle (no “@”) and link it for verification.

That gets you in the door. The rest of activation is the bio-code verification and your media-kit profile build — both covered in the next questions.

Brands run the platform on the web at app.ainfluencer.com. Creators stay on mobile, that’s where you’ll see push notifications for new campaigns, brand offers, and earnings.

Verification proves you actually own the Instagram or TikTok handle you linked. The app shows you a temporary 6-digit code and asks you to place it in your social bio.

  1. Copy the 6-digit code shown on the verification modal.
  2. Open Instagram (or TikTok), paste the code into your bio, and save.
  3. Come back to the app and tap the green Verify button.

Once the system detects the code, your account moves out of Draft Mode and becomes Active — and you can start applying to campaigns right away.

The bio code is temporary. As soon as your account shows as Active, you can safely remove it from your bio — it’s only needed for that one-time ownership check.

After sign-up, you need to complete two things to fully activate:

  1. Verify your email (the 5-digit code we sent at registration).
  2. Link and verify at least one social account (Instagram or TikTok) using the 6-digit bio code, so your profile moves out of Draft Mode.

From there, the app walks you through a guided public media-kit build: bio, date of birth, location, language, audience info, content category, hashtags, a photo gallery, your insights screenshots, past collaborations, and a shipping address (for gifted-product campaigns).

Most steps are required, a few are skippable — see Social Account Connections for how to fill in or skip each one. While you wait for admin approval at the end, you can already browse and prepare offers on the Explore page.

Draft Mode means your social account isn’t fully verified yet. Until it clears, you can’t apply to campaigns — brands only see accounts that are Active. The most common reasons:

  • You haven’t placed the 6-digit verification code in your bio yet.
  • The code is in your bio, but our system hasn’t detected it yet (give it a few seconds and tap Verify again).
  • You typed your username slightly wrong when linking — even one extra character will block the match.
  • Your account is set to private. It must be public.
  • You haven’t met the eligibility floor yet (see the followers question below).

Fix the underlying issue, then go back into the app and re-trigger verification. Once detected, the account flips to Active automatically.

No. The 6-digit code is only needed long enough for the system to read your bio and confirm ownership of the handle. As soon as your account shows as Active, you can remove the code — it has no ongoing function and is not visible to brands.

Most creators clear the code from their bio within a minute of being verified. It does not affect your account once Active.

The marketplace has two relevant thresholds:

  • Hard minimum: 100 real followers. Below this, the app blocks the verification step and asks you to grow and reapply later.
  • 5,000 followers is the figure cited for immediate, unconditional marketplace visibility. Between 100 and 5,000 you are eligible, but you’ll be evaluated on engagement quality and authenticity.

The account must also be:

  • Public (private accounts are rejected).
  • Authentic, no bought followers or fake-engagement patterns.
  • Compliant with platform community guidelines and FTC disclosure laws.

Repeated guideline violations, missed deadlines, or fake engagement can lead to suspension.

Yes. The 5,000-follower number is the bar for instant, unconditional approval — but as long as you clear the 100-follower hard floor and your account is public and authentic, you’re welcome on Ainfluencer. Accounts in the 100 to 5,000 range are reviewed on the strength of their engagement rather than raw reach.

Practical tip: a smaller, highly engaged account often wins out over a larger, low-engagement one. Brands looking for niche audiences regularly invite micro-creators. To stand out, complete every section of your media kit and showcase any past collaborations.

The system didn’t match the exact handle you entered to a public public account. Common causes and quick fixes:

  • You typed “@” in front of your handle — remove it.
  • A typo, extra character, or trailing space — re-enter your exact handle.
  • Your profile is private. Switch it to public in Instagram or TikTok settings.
  • The username actually doesn’t exist or was renamed since you linked it.

Correct the issue, then tap Add Account again. Most “incorrect username” errors clear up in seconds once the right exact handle is entered against a public profile.

Connection failures fall into a small set of reasons. The error message on screen usually tells you which:

  • “Username already registered” — the handle is linked to another Ainfluencer account. If you own it, contact support to claim it back.
  • “You must have at least 100 followers” — you’re under the eligibility floor. Grow to 100+ real followers, then reapply.
  • “Verification code could not be found” — paste the full code, save your bio, wait a few seconds, and retry.
  • “Your account must be public” — switch your account to public in Instagram or TikTok settings, then retry.

If the error persists after you’ve fixed the cause, message support with your account email and a screenshot of the error.

Until at least one social account is linked and Active, you can’t apply to brand collaborations. Linking is the gate.

To link from the app: open Profile → Social Accounts → + Add Account, choose the platform, enter your exact public handle, and complete the 6-digit bio-code step. The whole process takes a couple of minutes.

You can link multiple social accounts (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) under one Ainfluencer login — and pitch brands using whichever is the best fit for the campaign. See Social Account Connections for the full how-to.
